Vendor Cancellation & Refund Policy (Please read)
We Be LIT Children’s Literacy Festival
Thank you for your interest in participating in the We Be LIT Children’s Literacy Festival. Because vendor space is limited and significant planning goes into organizing the event, we have established the following cancellation and refund policy.
Vendor Commitment
Once a vendor application has been approved and payment has been submitted, the vendor’s space is officially reserved for the event.
Vendor fees allow us to secure event space, plan layout logistics, and promote participating businesses. For this reason, vendor payments are considered a commitment to participate in the festival.
Refund Policy
Vendor fees are non-refundable except in the case of a verified extreme emergency.
Approved emergencies may include:

Medical emergency

Family emergency
-
Severe unforeseen circumstances
Requests must be submitted in writing and reviewed by festival organizers. Documentation may be requested.
If a refund is approved, it will be issued at the discretion of the We Be LIT Children’s Literacy Festival planning team.
Non-Emergency Cancellations
Cancellations due to scheduling conflicts, changes in business plans, or other non-emergency situations will not qualify for a refund, as vendor space is reserved specifically for each participant and may be difficult to refill on short notice.
Event Cancellation
In the rare event that the festival must be cancelled by the organizers due to circumstances beyond our control (such as severe weather, venue cancellation, or public safety concerns), vendors will be offered one of the following options:

A full refund
or -
Transfer of the vendor fee to the next scheduled festival date.
Vendor Responsibility
Vendors are responsible for attending the event during the scheduled festival hours and arriving on time for setup.
Failure to attend the event without prior communication will result in forfeiture of the vendor fee.
Agreement
By submitting payment and participating in the We Be LIT Children’s Literacy Festival, vendors acknowledge that they have read and agree to the terms outlined in this cancellation and refund policy.
